Chinchilla Memories - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Skyline Apps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Chinchilla Memories mobile application ("the App").

Information We Collect

Photos

If you choose the "My Photos" card theme, the App accesses your photo library to let you select images as custom card faces. Selected photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to any server.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics through Firebase Analytics to help improve the App, such as which levels are completed and which features are used most frequently. This data does not identify you personally and cannot be used to track you across other apps or websites.

Purchase Data

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store any payment information. Purchase entitlements are verified on-device using Apple's StoreKit 2 framework.

Local Data

The App stores your game progress, high scores, and preferences locally on your device using UserDefaults. This data is not transmitted to any server.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Analytics — Used to collect anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the App. No personally identifiable information is collected. See Firebase Privacy Policy .
  • Apple StoreKit — Used to process in-app purchases. All payment processing is handled by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy .

Data Storage

All user data — including game progress, preferences, and selected photos — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. The only external data transmission is anonymous analytics to Firebase as described above.

Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The anonymous analytics data collected cannot identify individual users of any age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
