InspireMe - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Skyline Apps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the InspireMe mobile application ("the App").

Information We Collect

Location Data

InspireMe uses your device's location services to find places near you. Location data is used solely to provide nearby place suggestions and is not stored on our servers. Location data is processed on your device and sent directly to Google Places API to retrieve relevant results.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage analytics to help improve the App, such as which features are used most frequently. This data does not identify you personally.

Cached Data

The App caches place information and photos locally on your device for up to 30 days to improve performance and enable offline access. This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Places API — Used to search for and retrieve information about nearby places. Your approximate location is sent to Google to provide search results. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by their services. See Google's Privacy Policy .

Data Storage

All user preferences and cached data are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal information. Place data is cached for up to 30 days and dismissed place preferences are stored for up to 7 days, after which they are automatically cleared.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. The only external data transmission is to Google Places API as described above, which is necessary for the App to function.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
