Chef Astra is an early preview of what AI-powered meal planning can look like. It started as a Google ADK competition entry on Kaggle and has been rebuilt from scratch into a 6-phase engineering project.
Early Preview
This is a proof of concept demonstrating multi-agent AI architecture for meal planning. We’re actively improving response quality, speed, and coverage. The demo uses a lightweight model to keep costs low - the production version will be significantly better.
How It Works
When you make a request, Chef Astra runs it through a pipeline of 12 agents. A safety agent screens your input, health experts generate guidelines, a cuisine router selects the right specialist chef, and RAG retrieves relevant recipes. A master chef assembles the plan, a reviewer validates it, and a memory agent learns your preferences.
